Call for Speakers, Presenters, and Facilitators

We are seeking proposals from diverse stakeholders for the International Summit on Ending Gender-Based Violence (ISEGBV 2025). Contributions are welcome from:

  • Non-Profits and Advocacy Organizations: Practitioners with field experience.
  • Government Representatives and Policymakers: Leaders advancing GBV-related legislation, frameworks, and public programs.
  • Healthcare Professionals: Experts in trauma-informed care and mental health services.
  • Legal Professionals: Specialists in GBV-related policy, law, and advocacy.
  • Technological Innovators: Developers of tools and platforms for GBV prevention and response.
  • Survivor-Led Initiatives: Advocates with lived experience and innovative survivor-centered programs.

• Private Sector Leaders: Innovators exploring partnerships and funding models for GBV solutions.

Submission Themes

  • Proposals should align with the following themes:

    1. Survivor-Centered Approaches
    2. Intersectionality in Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response
    3. Legal Frameworks and Policy Advocacy
    4. Economic Empowerment and Gender-Based Violence
    5. Engaging Men and Boys as Allies in Prevention
    6. Healthcare Responses to GBV
    7. Technological Innovations in GBV Prevention and Response
    8. Building Resilient Communities for Survivors
    9. Public Sector Contributions and Government Accountability

Proposal Requirements

  1. All proposals must include the following:

    1. Title: A clear and concise title of your session or presentation.
    2. Abstract: A summary (250-300 words) outlining the proposed content, objectives, and relevance to the summit’s theme.
    3. Speaker Bio: A short biography (150-200 words) highlighting your relevant expertise and experience.
    4. Contact Information: Include your full name, affiliation, email, and phone number.

Submission Categories

  1. Keynote Addresses: 30-minute inspiring talks from thought leaders and experts.
  2. Workshops: 90-minute interactive sessions focused on practical tools and strategies.
  3. Breakout Sessions: 60-minute presentations featuring innovative ideas, case studies, and best practices.

Special Focus for Policymakers and Government Officials

We encourage proposals that:

  • Highlight innovative policy interventions to combat GBV.
  • Share success stories of government-led programs and initiatives.
  • Discuss collaboration opportunities between governments, NGOs, and private sectors.
  • Focus on accountability frameworks and government funding for GBV programs.
