This year’s Theme: Climate Justice and Gender Justice !
At the International Conference on Climate Change and Gender Justice 2023, we will advance the global climate talks about climate action taking the gender responsive approach to mobilize action and provide a significant opportunity to look at the impact of climate change as well as innovation and solutions for the problem in the perspective of gender inclusion at all levels, from climate financing, impact assessment, involvement of in adaptation strategies, decision making among others.
Climate Change threatens women’s well-being and livelihoods and increases risks of gender based violence. When Women are able to lead and benefit from climate initiatives, we move forward the path to a just climate-resilient world. Working to end gender inequalities and uphold women’s rights is part of the fight for climate justice- Oxfam Canada .
